Sizemore Insurance is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager for our Wilmington office.

This is not a desk-only servicing position.
This is a high-visibility client and producer leadership role that blends strong commercial account management with real-time field partnership alongside producers.

You will protect key client relationships, guide renewal strategy, and actively help elevate production by teaching, modeling, and leading in the field.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and retain a commercial lines book of business
  • Lead renewal strategy and proactive coverage reviews
  • Prepare high-quality submissions and negotiate with carriers
  • Communicate clearly with underwriters and business clients
  • Partner with producers in the field during client meetings
  • Model strong fact-finding, risk assessment, and advisory conversations
  • Teach carrier appetites, submission strategy, and market positioning
  • Strengthen commercial workflows, consistency, and execution across the office

This role both protects existing revenue and helps create new revenue.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience required
  • Active North Carolina Property and Casualty license required
  • Strong knowledge of carrier markets and underwriting expectations
  • Confidence in professional client and prospect meetings
  • Natural ability to coach, guide, and communicate clearly
  • Organized, proactive, and accountable in daily execution
  • Team-oriented with clear leadership presence

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $55,000 to $85,000+ based on experience and background
